Logging In
You’ll need to sign into the backend of your site in order to make updates, publish blogs, and manage your site.
To login to the backend of your WordPress site you will need to pull up yourdomain.com/login [eg. https://foecreative.com/login]. That will give you access to the login page. From here you can enter the email or username associated with your account and your password to access the backend of your website.

The login page also give you access to the password reset form. If you have lost your login password you can request a password reset which will be sent to the email address associated with your account. If you don’t have access to that email or still can’t sign in reach out to our support team at dev@foecreative.com.
After signing in you will land on the WordPress dashboard. From here you will use the sidebar navigation to select the specific content on your site that you would like to make edits on or publish. The bulk of your updates will happen within the top navigation items. [Posts, Media, Forms, and Pages]
- Posts – This will contain your blog or a similar piece of repeating publishable content
*Some site will include additional post types for ‘Events’, ‘Portfolio’, or other content - Media – Your media library contains all of the imagery, PDFs, videos, or other files that have been uploaded to the site. You can bulk upload new imagery here or delete files.
- Forms – Any contact, subscription, or request forms can be managed here including notifcation recipients.
- Pages – All of your website pages live here.
- Theme Settings – Contains any global content for your site IE. contact details, logos, social accounts, or custom header/footer content.
